Biographical/Historical Note
Doris Patty Rosenthal (1889-1971) was a painter, lithographer, designer, and educator who traveled frequently throughout Mexico and painted scenes of Mexican life and culture.
Provenance
The donor, Mary Gruskin, was the director of Midtown Galleries, Inc., which represented Rosenthal.
