Identification on verso (typewritten): Adolph Dehn (1895- ). In a long active career, Dehn has been a painter in oil and water color, but is known primarily as a lithographer. His subjects cover a wide range, New Orleans negroes, life and landscapes in the West and Northwest, city life and movement. His style too has ranged widely, from a Chinese quality to social satire.
