Marine and landscape painter. Haseltine was the brother of James and Charles Haseltine, both painters, and the father of sculptor Herbert Haseltine.
The donor, Helen Haseltine Plowden, is Haseltine's daughter, and author of his biography WILLIAM STANLEY HASELTINE (1947).
