About the Annual Gala 

The Gala is the Archives of American Art’s annual fundraising event celebrating American art and the important role the Archives has played in documenting and preserving the history of American art. Since the first Gala in 1984, the event has provided critical, unrestricted support while recognizing the accomplishments of its remarkable honorees.
