Tuesday, July 23, 1872- I wrote to Julia Wilkinson at Hudson today to see if she could give me Gifford's address. It has been a cool solemn day with dark brooding clouds. Gertrude, the children and I took a walk over to the View after dinner. Wrote to Gussie.
