Jervis McEntee Diary Entry, Saturday, June 7, 1873, from the Jervis McEntee papers, 1850-1905, in the Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution

Saturday, June 7, 1873- I executed the new bond and mortgage and took it up to Mr. Hoar. I also sent the satisfaction price to Mrs Skul and a check to Mrs. Winter for $350. My father and mother started for Port Jervis on Wednesday to attend the wedding of Mr. Famahans daughter. They are to be gone a week or more. Dwight arrived on Friday evening he and Laura having come from Hillsboro on the brig. I spent this afternoon remodeling one of my sketching boxes.
