Jervis McEntee Diary Entry, March 7, 1873, from the Jervis McEntee papers, 1850-1905, in the Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution

Friday, March 7, 1873- I called on Mrs. Church in the evening at Mr. Osborn's and tried to get her to speak a word for Mrs. Mozier's sale among her friends. Her mother was there and had been to call on Mrs. Mozier. From there I went to call at Dr. Holland's and saw the Dr. and Mrs. Holland. Gertrude went to Sing Sing today. She has a very sore throat and is almost ill.
