Monday, Mar 9, 1874- Took a walk and while I was gone Mr. Williams of Boston called. Recd check from Myers and Hedian for $350 for my picture of Winter 20x24 oval top. I paid my rent to Feb. 1. Mrs Winter $100 and a couple of smaller bills. The weather is windy and wintry again. Wrote to Lily French sending her a piece Burn's bed valence and Gertrude sent her a scrap of brocade from Marie Antoinettes bed room furniture. Wrote a note to Sarony relative to my sitting for a photograph. Acknowledged Myers & Hedian's letter.
