Recd an invitation to dine at Mr. Franklin H. Delanos tomorrow to meet Mr. & Mrs. Church which I declined. Went up to Putnams to do some errands. A Mr. [blank] called to see my little Fisher Girl. Asked him $300 for it. Said he'd call again, which he wont. Recd a letter from Buffalo telling me my picture was undoubtedly sold and asking me to wait a day or two as I last week ordered it home. Noticed with real sorrow the announcement of Mrs. Godkins death on Monday.
