Weir came in. I saw him last evening. Had many calls. A German gentleman with his ladies wanted to see a wood interior. Showed him a number of my sketches. Mrs. Stone and a friend called. The Libby girls and others. We dined with the Holts and had an exquisite dinner meeting Mr & Mrs Holt (Henry Holts brother & wife) and a Mr & Mrs Ives.
