Went out to College Hill after breakfast. They had expected me the night before and were glad to see me. After dinner went over to Cambridge to see Cranch. He and Carrie had gone to a concert in Boston but saw Mrs. Cranch and had a very satisfactory call. Miss Adams (her cousin) and her brother were calling there. We had met her several years ago at Mrs. Morells.
