Tuesday June 25, 1878

Jervis McEntee Diary Entry, Tuesday, June 25, 1878, from the Jervis McEntee papers, 1850-1905, in the Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution

Old Dr. Crispell came to see Joe and tells him he can cure him if he will remain quiet which has greatly encouraged him. I painted on the house all forenoon and in the afternoon Gertrude and I took a ride up through Eddyville and Dashville, crossed Perrine's bridge and returned by Rosendale and Greenkill. Sara and Maurice went up to the Overlook to the opening of the new Hotel.
