Jervis McEntee Diaries

Friday February 20, 1880

Jervis McEntee Diary Entry, February 20, 1880, from the Jervis McEntee papers, 1850-1905, in the Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution

Friday, Feb 20, 1880 Joe Tomkins came in, apparently very discontented and restless. Wishes he was back at Rondout. I should not be surprised if he went up with me tomorrow. Mr. Kauffman called. Booth did not come and I painted a small picture. Dined at Eastman Johnsons, with Mrs. J's cousin Jules Vail. Am going home tomorrow.
