Tuesday, Feb 21, 1883 Made a drawing of my figure picture "The Wintry [?]" for Kurtz's Academy Notes which I partially promised to him. In the midst of it Mc[?] came. However I was glad to see [?] and invited him to lunch. Downing and Julia were at [?] house when I went over to dinner having arrived about [?] after a rough passage of 17 days. They both looked [?] well. Harry was there and dined with us. Wrote [?].
