Sunday March 18, 1883

Jervis McEntee Diary Entry, March 18, 1883, from the Jervis McEntee papers, 1850-1905, in the Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution

Sunday, Mar 18, 1883 A warm day with a strong south wind. I am surprised to see how the snow has gone. There was good sleighing on Wednesday, now the fields are almost bare. Downing and I took a walk up to the tunnel, through it up to Jacobs Valley and home across by the cemetery.
