Wednesday, Dec 17, 1884 There was a bad accident on the West Shore road yesterday just above Highland. Four or five cars were burned and several people injured one it is thought fatally. I have painted all day on a little picture for Mary to give to Lori Warner. It is a view of Port Ewen from the Vlight burgh. No one comes here and I have all my time to work.
