Tuesday, Feb 3, 1885 Awoke with a violent head ache and feeling very badly. Ate but little breakfast but have felt better during the rest of the day. Have worked a very little. Began a drawing of my Twilight for Kurtzs Academy Notes. Have had leisure today to get a little discouraged. I cant see my way out of my troubles unless I can sell something, which seems almost impossible now. Spent the evening at Marys, reading Dr. Hammonds novel "Lal".
