Jervis McEntee Diary Entry, June 1, 1885, from the Jervis McEntee papers, 1850-1905, in the Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution

Monday, June 1, 1885 Calvert went away with the 11 oclock train Hudson River intending to call at Mrs. Morrells. My boil is getting troublesome and I am doing nothing but attend to it. Have taken Dr. Hunts medicine since Friday morning and kept cold water on it.
