Jervis McEntee Diary Entry, February 6, 1888, from the Jervis McEntee papers, 1850-1905, in the Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution
Monday, Feb 6, 1888 Cold again. Have been working all day putting strips on my pictures. Fuller came to see me and offered to do all he could to help advertise my sale. I also had friendly notes from Huntington & Clark the latter offering to help me in any way he could. Called at the Mendelsons but they were in confusion moving etc. Went to call on Miss Noxon but she was out. To the club for an hour or two.
