Jervis McEntee Diaries

Monday July 8, 1889

Jervis McEntee Diary Entry, July 8, 1889, from the Jervis McEntee papers, 1850-1905, in the Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution

Monday, July 8, 1889 Tom cut the last of the hay today in the orchard. It has been a pretty hot day. I went down town in the morning and in the afternoon painted on my study in the garden. Mary, Agnes Sara and Girards wife took a ride. I called down at John McEntees in the evening. Ben Foster is still there.
