Monday, Oct 28, 1889 Grey, quiet day. Went down town and got John to sign the deeds to North and Dewey and sent them to Calvert in N. Y. to sign and I also wrote him to ask if he had come to any conclusion about selling me the place. Have been at home all day busy about many things. I have made a plan for converting the Carriage house into a very nice house and hope Girard may be able to have it.
