Jervis McEntee Diary Entry, April 30, 1890, from the Jervis McEntee papers, 1850-1905, in the Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution
Wednesday, Apr 30, 1890 Went up to Kingston to keep my appointment with Dr Rosa the dentist at 10 oclock. He filled one of my teeth for me and in an excellent manner I think. I did not get away until 1 o'clock. I rode down to Rondout to the post office and walked up home. I saw by the Freeman this evening that Dewey is to build on his lot. I wrote to Lucy and told her of my talk with Sedgwick.
