Friday, Mar 28, 1890 The rain poured in torrents this morning and it has been showery with thunder and lightning through the day. I have painted on Gertrudes portrait but am in despair about it. It does not look like her and I cant make it look like her. I called on Annie Lee this evening at Nortons. Julia Dillon is there also.
