Summary: One first release print 16mm reel, of "Samuel Yellin's Legacy: The Story of a Metalworking Shop," directed by Peter O'Neill, 1993. Also included are 45 cored 16mm reels (sound and picture) and 71 ¼" open audio reels as components of the film and 0.2 linear feet of documentation. Additional material includes two open reel ¼ inch audio of an interview with Francis Whitaker and three 16mm reels of sound and picture from the filming, 1991.

Biographical/Historical Note

Peter O'Neill (1945- ) is an educator and film producer in Rhode Island.­ O'Neill taught at the Rhode Island School of Design and was the project director, cinematographer, and co-editor for the film Samuel Yellin's Legacy: The Story of a Metalworking Shop.
