Five letters from sculptor Leonard Craske to Emma De Long concern the production and unveiling of the memorial gravesite sculpture in honor of George Washington De Long. In one letter, Craske suggests De Long contact Admiral Bird to ask advice about the unveiling of the sculpture. Also found are photocopies of clippings concerning the unveiling of the monument in 1928, a copy of Craske's obituary, and ordering information for a book about the De Long family by Thomas De Long.
Three photographs include a portrait of painter William Bradford, his wife Mary Bradford with Emma Wotton De Long, and the Bradford home in Fairhaven, Massachusetts.
