Biographical/Historical Note

Haynes Ownby (1929-2001) was a painter and writer in Provincetown, Massachusetts and was a student of Hans Hofmann. In addition to being a painter, Haynes invented a game, wrote and produced a play, and edited writings by artist Myron Stout.
