Found are biographical materials, correspondence, photographs of Weber, others, and artwork, and printed material. Also found are two sketchbooks containing sketches of figures and people.
Biographical/Historical Note
Chicago, Illinois painter Idelle Weber (1932-2020) was known for her Pop art compositions of black silhouettes set against flat, brightly colored backgrounds. Weber was also associated with the Photorealist movement and her work was exhibited extensively in New York.
