Description: Photograph shows five men at Buxheim Monastery packing Rothschild furniture recovered during World War II.
Item is inscribed on verso (handwritten): This is one of 3 packing shops we set up in the Monastery. This happens to be the music room. Note the fancy healing stone in the right corner. We rigged it up so it works on the scrap lumber and shop sweepings. We also had to [?] lights in the room. The furniture came from one of the Rothschild residences in Paris.
