Side 01 recording was done in August, 1992. It begins with Rose Slivka's conversation with a ceramicist named Donnie. Discussion topics are wide-ranging and include Donnie's career as ceramicist, working with children, education, his relationship with Peter Voulkos, and Voulkos's personality. Side 01 recording 00:14:44-00:35:43 consists of studio noises, music and partially incomprehensible conversation between Peter Voulkos and Donnie. Side 01 concludes with a social conversation by Slivka, Voulkos, Donnie and unnamed other people. Side 02 recording is Rose Slivka's discussion with Amy Zerner and Monte Farber. It was recorded on November 22, 1992. Discussion topics include Zerner's career as an artist, methods, materials, techniques and processes of creating artwork, its subject matter, and her inspirations such as astrology.
