Description: Luks writes to Shinn upon his departure for Europe in 1900.
The letter is illustrated with a pen and ink drawing of a man (Shinn) carrying a briefcase which reads "E. Shinn, Woodstown & New York", several large sheets of paper or canvas, one of which reads "snow scene", and a woman on his shoulder (presumably his wife Florence). They are walking towards a large body of water, and the accompanying caption reads: I presume that you will have to wade out in the river to board the boat.
