Description: Recording gradually becomes higher pitched and distorted on both tapes. Tape 1 begins with a compilation of several phone calls, primarily between Chernow and Jeanne-Claude, in which Chernow seeks clarification on a variety of topics that had been discussed in previous interviews. A call between Chernow and Joyce-May Henery is included around the 13 minute mark. Starting at 27 minute mark, Burt Chernow and Jeanne-Claude review pages 718-830 of Chernow's book draft.
