Description: Side 01 recording is Kohen dictating to herself. First portion relates to photographer Andy Sweet. Side 01 starting at 00:20:07, and Side 02, is conversation with Marisol, Helen Kohen and an unnamed woman. Recording is done in an echoing space, has background noise, low sound quality and portions of muffled speech. Discussion topics are wide-ranging and include Marisol's artwork, her tools, materials and method of sculpting, drawings, past and upcoming exhibitions, and her public image. Marisol describes her style as moving between reality and abstraction. Recording includes an unnamed woman and man in addition to Marisol and Kohen. Date range is based on Kohen mentioning December dates and January 11 1988 noted as the date for Marisol interview.
