Discussion topics include de Pury's career as an auctioneer and a curator of Baron Thyssen-Bornemisza's private art collection, the phases of that collection, and hyssen-Bornemisza's taste in art. --- Side 02 recording is Hayden Herrera interviewing Baron Heinrich Thyssen-Bornemisza. Discussion topics include his collection, American art in it and his motivations for purchasing it, and other collections of American art in Europe. Side 02 00:30:20 recording sound quality worsens rapidly. 00:30:40-00:30:52 and 00:32:02-00:32:12 is Hayden Herrera's introduction for an interview with Harold Szeeman. However, there is no recording of the Szeeman interview in the Hayden Herrera collection.
