Description: Scrapbook contains primarily clippings pertaining to Kootz Gallery exhibits: Women; the Gallery's third anniversary exhibit; an exhibit of French artists Geer van Velde and Bram van Velde; and one-man shows for: Hans Hofmann; Byron Browne; Adolph Gottlieb; Carl Holty; David Hare; and Robert Motherwell. Also several articles pertaining to William Baziotes' painting titled Cyclops.
Tucked loose in the back of the scrapbook are six pamphlet exhibit programs, various magazine pages, two letters (one from James S. Plaut of the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, a general memo to inform of the Institute's name change; the other from Marianne Swain of Abraham & Strauss thanking Kootz for his assistance with the Brooklyn Scholastic Art Awards Exhibit), and other press clippings.
