Description: Recording stops and starts, is made in an echoing space and has occasional scratching and other noises. Recording is made by Cynthia Goodman. Sound level is low and portions of recording are either difficult or impossible to understand. Recording consists of lectures by lecturers who are not introduced. Side 01 and Side 02 until 00:15:20, is the first lecture, given by a man. It's topics include art criticism, art critics, their attitudes towards emerging art movements such as abstract expressionism and pop art, and the idea of art as redemption. Side 02 starting 00:15:28 is a partial lecture given by a woman. Topic is artwork and career of an unidentifiable female artist. Cassette tape has Dore Ashton and an unreadable name written on it.
