Description: Groszmann, the superintendent of the Workingman's School, writes to Pach about his son Walter's performance in school.
He encloses the written assessments given by several of Walter's teachers on his performance and their opinions as to whether he should be sent to public school (they seem to be in agreement that he should stay at the Workingman's School). The teachers represented are: Francis Dohs, C.H. Bickford, Joseph T. Bedford, F. Monteser. Anne J. Dunn, Clara R. Hatheway, Henry A. Kelly, and A. S. Lee.
The Workingman's School was also known as the Ethical Culture School.
