Description: Recording stops and starts and has hum and portions of muffled speech. Side 01 until 00:12:42 is Jack Stewart dictating letters, memos, and a report of his observations about Rhode Island School of Design's program located in Rome, Italy. Rest of Side 01 and Side 02 recording until 00:16:17 is Stewart's lecture about academic research methods and writing research papers. Following Stewart's lecture is a lecture about humanity and art, given by an unnamed man. The lecture portion of recording ends 00:40:16 and is followed by a lively conversation between lecturer, students, and Jack Stewart. Notes copied from the tape: "EHP and Letters RISO" and "Culliman". Dates are copied from the tape.
