Jean and Hilbert Sosin papers, 1972-2004

The series consists of files for an article by Sosin titled "Neves Glas/New Glass," conferences, events, exhibitions, lectures given by the Sosins, tours of the Sosin Collection, and trips organized by glass organizations.

Conference and event materials include programs, correspondence regarding the Sosins' participation, and printed materials. Exhibition files consist of clippings, announcements, correspondence, and a few records relating to the exhibition of works from the Sosin Collection. Of note are files for Contemporary Glass from the Sosin Collection, a major exhibition of glass art at the University of Michigan in Dearborn in 1987, that include a poster mock-up, thank you letters, and information on works in the exhibition. Lecture files contain notes and typescripts of talks given by the Sosins, along with thank you letters, programs, and location information.
