Summary: The papers of artist Lily Yeh measure 3.18 gigabytes and date from circa 1994-2000. The material is compromised of 635 digital files and document the Yeh's projects across the globe including the Chong An Restoration project, Commemorating German Wilson, Dandelion Project, Rwanda Healing Project, and South Sudan Project. Project files include digital photographs and videos and supporting documents such as press releases, diaristic writings by Yeh, and project promotional materials. Also included are preparatory sketches for the built environments and murals at the heart of Yeh's work, as well as photographs and videos of completed projects.

Biographical/Historical Note

Lily Yeh (1941- ) is an artist in Philadelphia, Pa. In 2002, Yeh developed and founded Barefoot Artists, a project driven by the methodology for public artmaking in traumatized regions around the globe. This methodology was formulated through Yeh's experience as founder and lead artist of The Village of Arts and Humanities in Philadelphia (1986-2004).
