Biographical/Historical Note
Paul G. Babcock (1905-1976) was a painter, muralist, and mosaicist in California. He was known for mosaic murals, portraits, still-lifes, and desert scenes. During the depression he was employed by the Federal Art Project and created murals for public projects with his wife Alberta von Ottenfeld. Read More

The collection was lent for microfilming 1965 by Paul Babcock and Alberta Babcock and was returned after filming.
