Biographical/Historical Note
Ruth Chai Vodicka (1921-1999) was a sculptor in New York City, New York. Vodicka began working in welded metal in the 1950s and took welding repair jobs to fund more materials for her artwork. She was a member of the Sculptors Guild.
Provenance
Ruth Vodicka donated her papers to the Archives of American Art in 1977.
