From the Archives of American Art: The Role of the Macbeth Gallery
October 11–26, 1962, an exhibition of 53 works of art and five panels with reproductions from the Macbeth Gallery records.
Organized by the AFA, foreword by E. P. Richardson, Director of the Archives of American Art, with an essay by R. G. McIntyre. (McIntyre was the nephew of William Macbeth. He joined the firm in 1903 and eventually became president of the gallery. In 1953 he closed the gallery and subsequently donated the records to AAA.)
