The Fr. Michael E. Komechak, O.S.B. Art Gallery at Benedictine University houses an extensive collection of fine and applied works of art in a variety of mediums, with an emphasis on religious art. The gallery's files document artists represented in the collection and in temporary exhibitions held at the gallery since the 1970s, many showcasing the work of Chicago-area contemporary artists.
