Saturday, July 25, 1874- [McEntee enters this as July 24] Mary and Marion left to day for New York to join our people on Monday on their way to Hillsboro. We were very sorry to have them go. I had a photographer come this morning and take four pictures of the children for me. Wrote to Bayard Taylor & Mrs. Winter. Painted on Mrs Woods picture. I wrote to her yesteday asking her if she would send me her photograph. I dont get on very well with her picture.
