Scope and Contents
The Carolyn Alper papers relating to the Foundry Gallery measure 0.4 linear feet and date form 1970 to 1977. The papers document Alper's participation as an artist and co-founder of the gallery through correspondence, agreement and insurance material for the gallery, gallery members, clippings, exhibition announcements, price lists, and photographs of artwork and exhibitions. There is also material regarding the Conference for Women in the Visual Arts, held at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in 1972.
