Scope and Contents
The records of the Pam Adler Gallery measure 7.4 linear feet and date from 1969 to 1986. The records document the history of the gallery through correspondence with art galleries and museums across the United States; artist files on artists represented by the gallery; and exhibition files on exhibitions held at the gallery.

Also included with correspondence is a file related to the building lease of the Pam Adler Gallery and one notebook of gallery procedures.
Artist files consist of resumes, photographs and slides, clippings, exhibition announcements and catalogs, and press releases for artists represented by the gallery. Some of the featured artists include: Ed Baynard, Jonathan Santlofer, Judith Murray, D. Jack Solomon, and Barbara Zucker.
Exhibition files consist of press releases, exhibition announcements and catalogs, and some correspondence related to exhibitions hosted by the gallery. Included are annual files for the Chicago Arts Fair between 1980 and 1986.
