Scope and Contents
The papers of art educator Roy E. Abrahamson regarding Henry Schaefer-Simmern measure 0.4 linear feet and date from 1951-1985. Included are letters from Schaefer-Simmern to Abrahamson regarding Schaefer-Simmern's publications, art education, art theory and methods, and art and museums in Germany; and fourteen lectures, 1967-1968, on fifteen audio cassettes given by Schaefer-Simmern at the University of California, Berkeley, St. Mary's College, Moraga, California, and LeConte School, Berkeley, California. Lectures are numbered on cassettes 1-9 and 11-15. Also included is a photocopy of an honorary degree for Schaefer-Simmern from St. Mary's College.
