Biographical/Historical Note
Tania (1920-1982) was a painter, sculptor, and collagist in New York City, New York, perhaps best known for her 1970 13-story geometric wall painting which still stands at the corner of Mercer Street and 3rd Street in Greenwich Village, New York.

Donated 1983 by Ranger Mills, Tania's widower.
