Scope and Contents
The Artfellows Cooperative Gallery records measure 2.7 linear feet and date from 1980 to 1997. The collection sheds light on the gallery's operations through administrative records, files pertaining to a gallery-sponsored mural project in Belfast, Maine, and printed material.
Administrative records include documentation of the gallery's ArtSearch competition, exhibition-related material, financial papers, gallery meeting minutes, and membership and visitor logs.
Material related to the IGA mural project includes contestant correspondence, a list of votes for the muralist, papers relating to fundraising campaigns, printed material, photographs, a t-shirt, and a video recording about the project.
The collection's printed material consists primarily of exhibition announcements, and several scrapbooks of exhibition material and clippings.
