The scrapbook of painter Jerre Murry dates from 1936 to circa 1941. The scrapbook focuses on Murry's participation in the Works Progress Administration, Federal Art Project and includes a biographical sketch, correspondence, photographs of friends and of works of art, and printed material.

The collection was loaned to the Archives of American Art in 1964 for microfilming by Jerre Murry and was returned after filming.
